Rasika, Tosca, or Ceiba?

I am hosting a dinner for 10-12 people on a Wednesday in October. It will be right after work, so probably around 5:30ish.  Which of these three places would be the most generally appealing? I haven't been to any of them. Do any of them have better acoustics for conversation than the others?

Re: Rasika, Tosca, or Ceiba?

  • At 5:30 you may want to look into Rasika's pre-theater dinner menus - yum! I've been with smaller groups (6-8ish) and been able to converse.

  • For that many people, I'd want at least a separate area, if not a whole room.  I'm not sure which of those have that.  Only Ceiba jumps out at me as maybe not being ideal for conversation. The other two are pretty quiet.  Tosca probably most so.

I've found that private rooms require a contract and I am not authorized to sign contracts. So, this limits me to places that will just use a credit card guarantee.

  • I haven't been to Tosca or Rasika, but I wouldn't recommend Ceiba for conversation.  (Unless they've changed the place in the last few years...)

  • I've only been to Rasika and I love it. I was there with 6-8 people once and it was fine for conversation. Some people are weird about Indian food though.
