Detergent stain on white shower curtain

We washed our shower curtain (white cotton type material waffle print- spa collection) and there are blue detergent stains.  Any advice for getting rid of the stains? Thank you!

Re: Detergent stain on white shower curtain

  • It should come out in a rewash. Or Clorox it.
  • This happens to me all the time and it only happens to my favorite shirts. I've rewashed and they lighten up but I haven't tried anything else.
Warning No formatter is installed for the format bbhtml
  • I haven't had this issue since switching to an EF laundry detergent.

Spray it with stain remover and air dry only until the stain is completely out.

Maybe throw in some borax or baking soda when you wash it again.
