Possibly dumb visa question

I am a temporary resident of Canada and am visiting Denmark. Do I need to get a visa to enter Denmark? Or can I just use my passport and Canada work visa? I usually go back to the US when I travel so this is why I'm wondering.

Thanks!

Re: Possibly dumb visa question

  • I am almost positive that Denmark does not give a crap where you're living, but where you are a citizen.  Your US passport should be fine (I don't think Denmark requires a visa for US citizens to visit, but I could be wrong).
  • Visit this site to find out more about what visas you need for various circumstances in different countries:  http://www.iatatravelcentre.com/   :-)
  • Thank you. It's so time consuming to sift through all the information out there.
  • I was a temporary resident of Canada for years and flew to Europe many times from Canada without needing anything special. I never flew to Denmark, but flying to the UK and France on a US passport with a temporary  Canadian resident visa from within Canada was fine.

  • Any temporary visas you have mean nothing.  It's all about the passport.
