Long weekend vacation ideas?
I have a long weekend off of work in October and DH and I are thinking about going on vacation somewhere. The problem is figuring out where we should go.
Any recommendations for a great mini-vacation spot in mid/late October? We can leave on the evening of Wed 19th and need to be home on Sunday 23rd. We have quite a few airline and hotel points that we can use for this trip to help keep costs down.
We would prefer somewhere warmer than it will be in MN and DH would rather not do a lot of sightseeing on this trip. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I am trying to find a good deal on a weekend trip to Savannah because I think that would be a really great long weekend place. Water nearby, warmer than MN, and lots of good food around.
If you like the beach, I'd do San Diego for a long weekend! I could lay on the beach all weekend (I have been known to lay on the beach in jeans and a sweatshirt on winter vacations though..).
