Two weeks went by SUPER DUPER quickly, and I'm missing the States already, but we're back in NL. Safe and sound.
My best friend's wedding and baby C's baptism were WONDERFUL! Our trip there, not so much. From the moment we left our driveway in NL to the moment we arrived at my mom's in Michigan was 49.5 hours with an 8 month old. (Who was a TROOPER and cried a total of maybe 5 minutes the entire time.) We were bumped in Brussels to the next day due to weather and had two extended delays in Philly, but the airline compensated us well, and the staff was very nice.
I have to train my replacement at my work this week and get my jet-lagged baby back on Netherlands time and then I can finally concentrate on my Dutch course and take a breather....whew...
SOOOO....what'd I miss!?!?!? Anything big?
Re: We're back. :) What'd I miss!?
Holy crap, that is an INSANE amount of travelling time. Thank goodness the baby handled it so well. I'm so much more easily flustered now when I travel with Leo, and soon Jax will be added to the travelling mix. Sigh lol.
Not much happened my way while you were gone. I'm boring.
Welcome back!
I'm so glad baby C was so good for you!
Welcome back! I would be crying if I had that many delays and all that travel time!! Yay for Baby C hanging in there! How did your speech go at the wedding?
BFP Apr 2012, EDD Dec 19 2012 * twin h/b at 6wk, 9wk scan * Baby A lost at 12wks, Baby B was my rainbow born at 36wks
Welcome back! I would have been miserable with that amount of traveling even without a baby, so way to go!
