TS Lee
what a wet and windy weekend we are having! Tropical Storm Lee has been hanging out around here since late Friday and wont be past us until sometime tomorrow. we've gotten over 15 inches of rain and about 30mph winds. It hasn't been that bad. of course, we got the generator, AC, and everything ready for if the lights went out and they never did (knock on wood). My gmaw is staying with us b/c the roads going to and in Grand isle are covered in water. Lee was just downgraded to a depression and we are no longer under a tornado watch. YAY!
Anyone else expecting a wet week from Lee?

The great thing is it brought on a cool front! the highs are in the 80s and lows in the 60s! WOOHOO!

We went to a 30th bday party yesterday, which was supposed to be a pool party. Chase whined and whined b/c he could see the pool but couldn't go swimming. Finally, we let him put his hands in and splash around, which made him happy.
We got rain and high winds started late saturday night on into monday morning. We also got a cool front with the highs in the 70s and the lows in the low 60s. I pulled out my cowboy boots....it may be early but I have been itching to wear them for quite awhile now!
we got a ton of rain and wind! Lost power for a few hours and the internet for a day and a half (which felt like an eternity! haha)
it's a lot cooler here too! high yesterday was 64. it's still really wet and dreary out though.
