my mom just met with her oncologist to schedule her hysterectomy. he said that the cancer is in its early stages and is, in his opinion, completely curable!
she is having a radical hysterectomy on september 12th. they are taking everything out to reduce the risk of any metastases. he expects her to be in the hospital for 3 days or so, since he is doing the surgery laparoscopically.
thanks for your support over the last few days, ladies. it really has been helpful to me.
