anyone cooking anything good today?
i think i'm grilling chicken tonight - no idea ab out marinade yet. I'd like to make a ratatouille with the CSA eggplants, tomatoes, squash and peppers, and i can't decide if i should do rice or pasta or what else...if i can, i'd like to use stuff int he house instead of running to the supermarket, even though i'd rather have corn!
anyone making anything special for the end of summer labor day meals?
Re: anyone cooking anything good today?
Hello. I've waited here for you. Everlong<3<br>
Yum!! I wanna come over!
We're meeting friends for dinner later so no cooking going on here.
I wish I wasn't working, I'd bring you something other than hospital food to eat!
I didn't put anything in the crock pot today. I have to pull it out from it's storage space and start using it again. Hubby isn't home today, he's off being nerdy with his guy friends and I'm stuck at work. I'll probably just make some pasta tonight since it's most likely just me and the Kid home for the evening.
I made a really tasty yet simple app to bring to a BBQ. Veggie & tortellini ka bobs in a champagne vinaigrette.
Cook one bag of tortellini, cook one bunch of asparagus and have a carton of grape tomatoes.
Cut asparagus into 2 inch long pieces. Put one piece asparagus, one tortellini and one tomato on sticks and coat with champagne vinaigrette. (I used store bought.) Simple and delish!
