If you saw my fb, you saw that I'm having baking issues tonight. I have been craving chocolate chip pumpkin bread for a week and finally decided to make it. I got all of the "wet" ingredients mixed and was getting out my "dry" ingredients to mix and I opened my new bag of flour and there were ants in it!! *gag*
So, my question... can the "wet" already mixed up ingredients stay in my mixing bowl covered in my refrigerator until tomorrow when I go to the store for more flour, or did I just waste everything?
(It was: eggs, sugar, pumpkin, oil, and water).
Re: Baking Question
Thanks ladies!
Upon further investigation, it appears as if they were NOT ants but rather "flour bugs."

Gross! Make sure you use flour quickly when you buy it... ours was unopened, but we've had it for awhile.
