Regular day at work for me, and I'm looking forward to a quiet night at home watching Game of Thrones. Just borrowed the series on DVD from a friend and I'm already hooked!
QOTD: H and I drove from Delaware to New Orleans, stayed for 3 days and drove back during Mardi Gras senior year of college. We had been dating about 6 months and it was awesome.
I asked because we're gearing up for the drive from Philly to LA in a couple of months and I'm considering the best/most fun routes across the country
Now jumping domestically.
Well that was a crazy couple of years.
Morning! Working from home and possibly running some errands if it gets less gross out at some point today (right now its spitting rain sideways from the wind).
QOTD: When I was younger, we rarely flew places, even when they were fairly far away. But the best road trip was one where we hit Grand Tetons, Yellowstone, Glacier, Bampf, Jasper and Yoho national parks. We also saw the Badlands and Mt Rushmore and the site of the former Olympics in Calgary, Canada. It was freaking fantastic. Some day I would like to repeat that trip with my kids.

I'm working on my project proposal for my thesis project (that I'll be doing all semester) today. It's interesting, but I'm getting really annoyed at my reference program which will NOT install. I have to call tech support when they open. I hate annoying computer problems! Then I have book club tonight, yay!
QOTD: I have to say, I drove up to Maine and back with my sister in august, and it was really fun. The only long road trips I've taken other than that have been with my whole family for vacations when I was a kid, and this was definitely more fun than those trips.
No big plans today besides going to the gym after work. Saturday we started doing 3 sets of the workout, then I had to bike across town up a hill, so my as$ has been killing me since Sunday :-( I hope I can make it today!
QOTD: After my junior year of college a friend and I went from Stockton, CA to Vancouver. It was awesome.
We went to a wedding in Windsor, Canada (across the river from Detroit). After it we drove across Ontario to Buffalo, NY for the Buffalo Wing festival. Then we went to Niagara Falls for the night, then back to Detroit the next day.
We also did another quick roadtrip up to Rhode Island for a wedding from Florida. On the way we stopped at a friend's parent's house in NJ to borrow a tux and stayed in New Haven, CT one night. I think we also stayed in NC on the way up and back.
Those two are probably my two favorite road-trips.
The worst was an impromptu trip to New Orleans for Mardi Gras. The guy I went with didn't say more than one word at a time the whole trip. Fortunately when we got to New Orleans, his friends were more fun.
Good morning! I'm babysitting this afternoon and tonight I have my first ED therapy and counseling session. I'm nervous but excited, I hope it helps.

My favorite road trip was from Pittsburgh to Montana, so it could be a similar route. DH and I did it right after I graduated college, and had such a great time. We stopped at Mt. Rushmore, Wall Drug, and some other fun places along the way!!

My Doha Adventures
Good afternoon! I need to be getting the house ready for the IL's arrival tomorrow but I'm lacking the motivation right now.
QOTD: We took the long way through the Yorkshire Dales to the Lake District a couple months ago. We stopped in a little town called Hawes and had the best fish and chips ever. I was carsick from all the windy roads but we really had a blast.
Morning, ladies! I'm back from a long weekend away with BF and his family...and now I'm groaning out loud as I have to get ready for work. So NOT excited, most especially since I had requested my birthday off (it's on Thursday) and got it approved...and then found out yesterday that I have to be in at 0430 on Thursday because there's a rocket launch happening. Grrr.
QOTD: So far...hmm. Maybe when I moved to Phoenix. I drove from Tampa to Phoenix. Probably though...anytime I drove up to Flagstaff or Vegas from Phoenix was better...it's all about the company, right? Those were more fun.
