Ladies, we need to get this "bored" moving!
I'm not in the mood to work today...
Think of one thing you have not shared with the group lately and AW it here!
Re: What's new?
Well I shared it with the email group but I know there are some not on it so I'll do it here too - Rick and I have finally decided now is the time to start trying for #2. I started my first round of meds at the end of August and hoping for some early success
Other than that news - nothing exciting is going on. Josh is growing like a weed and is loving life.
Good for you!!! I totally wish that was something I could do but alas I'll be a working mom for life
Yay, Yay, Yay! have you decided which RE office you were going to work for?
Yay, Claire and Becky on your news!
I think you all know we are actively trying for #2 (cycle #2 now) and I posted about dabbling more seriously into photography, so the only thing I can think of is that we are going to be tiling our kitchen backsplash soon and we FINALLY decided on tile over the weekend after visiting what felt like a million stores. I have a pic on my cell phone, but can't find one online. It's almost like subway tile, but the tiles are rough cut and come out from the wall to add even more texture. I'll see if I can't upload the picture later. Alexi will install himself with his Dad's help. Once we do that, I just have to make the curtains and we'll be done with the kitchen for now. We will eventually put tile flooring in, but will probably wait a bit longer for that (as in after our future potential babies are walking well).
Congrats, Jess!
POAS yesterday and it was negative.
Started making decoupage coasters.
That's my latest.
CRAFTY ME
my read shelf:
Congrats on all the news ladies! How fun!!
I am planning to buy a new (to me) vehicle - probably a Ford Escape - within the next 4-6 weeks
Also, my mom mentioned that she might just give me her 105 macro lens ... um DROOL!!!
This is hilarious to me. Are they going to have to leave in such a rush that they can't pack a bag? Too funny.
They are planners (aka teachers). They don't do anything impromptu! They go away in the winter now and I asked them about getting timers for their lights and they said "well, that tips off people that we aren't home..." I asked them what the difference was between a timer and my FIL since he wakes up at the same time every day and goes thru the same routine (turns on/ off the same lights at the same time basically). They don't do well with surprises.
I shared with the email group, but not here. We are probably going to "pull the goalie" all the way (i.e. stop pulling and praying) by June. We agreed to before I turn 27 (which is 6/5/12), but I think we will probably go for early 2012
Also, I am 90% sure that we will be doing the Illinois marathon relay in the spring with by brother. We just need one more person to round out our team. I'm so excited because the race ends in the middle of the Illini football stadium and the whole team gets to join the person doing the last leg at the stadium gate and cross at the same time. It will be fun!

Yeah, I'm going to Hunt Real Estate. Which is who we used in 08 when we bought.
I'm with you, A. I SO wish I could stay home. But we like our fun money and vacations too much.
And, C - YAY!!! You're so lucky and I'm so happy for you!

Lots of good vibes to everyone!
Let's see....
DH and I decided to slowly go to more of a plant based diet. We will still enjoy the dairy products but less of the processed stuff.
We are charting this month and doing TI. DH is taking some herbal medicine that was prescribed to him and let's say well, he is alot more active if you know what I mean.
.
We're hopefully closing on a house in 3 weeks!! And plan to rip out the kitchen immediately. Bad idea, anyone? hah.
DH is in route to Cali today. He stopped in Vegas for the night since it is right on the way. Found a room on Priceline for $35 at the Flamingo!
After a year of wanting to get the heck out of my job and find a new one. I am FREAKING OUT about finding a new one in Fresno. What if it takes me forever to find one? What if we get a quick offer on our house and I have to move sans job? What if I never get any interviews?
The What Ifs are driving me nuts. Which has also put TTC on hold for longer than the 2 months we planned around for SIL's wedding in May:(
