Re: PG/Mom Check-In
I can't believe I'm almost half way! It feels like it's been so long and so little time all at once.
We're doing well. I found out at our gender scan that I have an anterior placenta, but I've been able to feel a little movement. The other night I felt the first tap, not just bubbles. I can't wait until I can feel her all the time and DH can start to feel her too! He's tried a few times, but so far nothing he can notice.
i stopped taking bc. not trying yet, but i am THIS much closer to playing on this roll call.
on that note, i freakin miss bc!! my skin is a mess, i have NO idea what is going on in my bod. dislike.
I am so excited that you are going to come play. Hopefully sooner rather than later.
I can't believe my little guy is going to be a month old on Thursday (where did time go?) We have a Dr appointment on Friday for a check up. I have my temp date to return to work and just thinking about it makes me want to cry. I wish so badly I could be a SAHM. I never thought I could do it until I've been out with T and seen how much fun it is to do absolutely nothing all day (except snuggle with my little man, cook dinner and tidy around the house)
We also started CDing today and I am so excited!

How exciting! When do you get to officially start trying?
As far as not knowing what your body is doing, you could try charting. That said, I wouldn't have wanted to do it when we were just starting TTC. It seems like it would add a lot of pressure and I would have wanted to go with the flow for a bit. Luckily for us, I got KU while charting to avoid (whoops)
Zoe is able to sit up and play/reach for toys pretty well. Sometimes she topples over and isn't too happy baout it, lol! Still no crawling and no teeth, but she is rolling and drooling like crazy.
She also isn't super interested in solids either. I think today we might intorduce carrots or squash. So far she has only had sweet potatoes (didn't like) and rice cereal. We are just taking it super slow.
She has started screaming bloody murder when I put her down for naps. The only way she will fall asleep is if I nurse her or we are out and about. I just can't let her CIO. I have no idea how to resolve this, so I am just going with the flow. Bedtime has been a little more challenging but we do our routine and she is mostly ok. I think I need a nap routine of some sort...
I also have baby fever really bad, even though I have a baby! WTF? Lol!! I won't start pressuring H until Zoe is about 1 though. We want 2 or 3 and since I'm 33 I don't want to wait too long in case we decide we want a 3rd.
Kennedy is doing great. Sitting on her own more now. She still topples over, but it takes longer. She's having SO much fun on vacation. No teeth, but it seems like she's teething like crazy. Chewing everything in sight!
I too have baby fever. So does H actually. My cycles are all over the place, but we are officially TTC. I just dropped down to pumping three times a day, and will probably start to wean down in another month. I have 4000 oz of milk frozen, and I think my cycles will regulate more if I wasn't pumping. I really just want to get her to a year on breast milk and I'll be happy.
That is awesome that you are down to pumping only 3 times a day! I am still feeding Zoe every 2 1/2-3 hours! I still haven't gotten AF yet, either, which is nice so I'm glad we aren't TTC anyway. I have no clue where I am in my cycle. I am so jealous that you are TTC!
Yay!! Good luck!
Awesome! So exciting! Good luck!

I am finally back online again after 6 weeks of visitors. DH was home with me for 3 weeks, then my dad came and helped me out each day for a week and the past 2 weeks my mom has been coming up to help me. It was so nice to have the help but I am enjoying the quiet time and internet/email time too.
Mason is doing great! He is growing like a weed and sleeping pretty good too. I usually only get up around 2 and 6 each night to feed him which is nice that the time from when he goes to bed until around 2 is a nice stretch of time.
Feeding is also going so much better. I had some issues in the beginning with a cracked nipple so I was only feeding on one side which in turn forced me to feed him a bottle after nursing so he was getting enough food and then I would pump after the bottle as the right boob needed to be drained. What a PROCESS!!! I decided 2 weeks ago I was going to try him back on the bad side again and although its still painful, its no where near the pain I was having initially when the crack first started. I know the pain is because he is not latching correctly or he might even have a shallow latch but its working for now. I will more than likely pump when I go back to work and maybe breast feed when I am home. It all depends, and for now I am just taking it day by day.
I cant believe its been 6 weeks already, time is flying by and I am trying to tell myself to enjoy these last 6 weeks as I will never be able to spend this type of time with him again since I work.
Hope you ladies are all doing well and I will definitely check in more often now that I am on my own.
Congrtats to all the new moms and the newly prego nesties.
We finished our nursery over the weekend (yay!) and started washing her clothes. I don't know why, but I found it a little overwhelming trying to organize everything in the drawers.
Sleep is getting harder, tossing and turning. Other than that, everything is pretty good.
I felt the exact same way and I don't know why either! If my mom hadn't done it for me, I would've been lost! Zoe's nursery wasn't even baby ready until about 3 days before she was born (my mom and sister had come to visit).
Beginning of the year is the projected start, as of now. I don't want to chart if I don't have to. I am just lazy and don't wanna, haha. We both have baby fever, but are waiting to accomplish some financial goals before starting.
went to san antonio tx this past weekend for a last getaway/visit friends. pregnant flying is not fun, but the trip was! we got to meet our good friends 15 mo old daughter for the first time and it was really special to see my H interact with a baby (he has like 0 experience) and we both felt that much more excited for our own to come!
the baby is stretching so much pushing my belly out and morphing it into different shapes and i always push its limbs back in because it feels so weird lol. and im with laney that sleep is pretty difficult nowadays..
next ob visit is my first cervical check and gbs culture... fun stuff
