happy short week! hope everyone had a fun/productive/rest-filled long weekend! i looooooove that it's a short week! wooo!
crap. i just realized it's our 2nd anniversary this friday. i need something. stat. guess i'll be doing some amazon shopping today!
nothing planned today, other than a nap, and residual clean-up from camping, maybe some grocery shopping...we'll see. have a great day!

I'm getting ready to head to the hospital today for some routine testing and then drive back home (it's a two and a half hour drive) to H. Kind of a sucky day, but I'll survive!

this weekend was fun! we went to a beautiful wedding.. but there was this lil sh!t kid there that was running wild and tried to put a booger in my face and ended up putting it in H's hair. I told the kid to get rid of the booger in the bathroom and next thing i know, he puts it on H's head. H didn't go for that, he got up and yelled at the kid and told his parent. H was FURIOUS. It was nuts... i was kinda embarassed but the kid was being baddddd so I'm glad H said something. made me think... if our kids act like this kid was acting.... yikes.
i'm excited for a short week. well i got the chance to get some overtime this week yesterday so I got it. I got paid normal pay for 8hours and time and a half for 5.5 hours that I actually worked.
Sounds good to me!

Sarack - Ugh! Guess you won't be forgetting that wedding anytime soon.
DH and I were lazy, lazy bums this weekend and it was lovely.
He's now OOT for 3 days and I hate when he travels. I started reading the Help this weekend, so hopefully that will help pass the time. I was hoping my new iPad would get here so I could geek out and play but it appears that won't happen
Good morning! It was busy at work for the first half hour or so, but now it's died down a bit.
We had fun this weekend - we had a good time with DH's family (though Saturday night was a bit rough for me - let's just say I lost both my lunch and dinner all at once at about 2am) Friday and Saturday, and then we relaxed most of Sunday (which we SO needed), then yesterday we had some good friends and their daughters over, as well as my brother and SIL and my niece.
We were thinking we might have had the baby this weekend, but alas, no baby. LOL I'm kind of anxious to get the show on the road. But we'll see!

Yay for short weeks! We had a good weekend. Saturday was busting our a$$es emptying out our storage unit and transferring all that stuff to the garage (and some of the furniture into the house). I've lost so much muscle in the past few years thanks to my back/shoulder injuries, it's kind of depressing. All this moving is definitely cheaper than a gym membership, but my body was none too pleased with me.
Sunday we played: my friend was sick and couldn't use her Bumbershoot tickets so gave them to us (we had sold off our 3-day passes because we figured we needed to do house stuff). We had fun. Saw one band, pretty good and from Anacortes, saw what I really wanted to see (Shakespeare Improv), and saw "Manos: Hands of Felt" - a puppet show recreation of a cult classic on the list of worst movies ever made. It was hilarious!
Monday, we dinked around the apartment taking it easy, then loaded up our cars with some Okie-load items to get them out of the way and went down to the house. We did our first home-owner task and learned about door locks and went and had the front door rekeyed to match the new back door handle we bought. Sadly, the back door keyhole is upside down, but turns out unless we ordered a special "left door" handle for much more money, nothing to be helped. At least the back and front doors now match (and we know there are no other keys out there). So we're down to 3 keys, 1 for house and then separate for garage and basement which we'll just leave as is.
Picks - I am on the look out for when you go into labor! I am so excited for you.
This week end was pretty chill. Just trying to get ready for the baby. I bought a couple nursing tanks this week end. A big group of us went to see the Help too. No plans tonight. Doctors visit tomorrow. Secretly I am hoping she'll tell me I can't work any more, but I know that won't happen.

Don't wish this. For serious.
My aunt was on bed rest with all 3 of her kids. The longest bed rest was just a little over 6 months. She was going stir crazy by the time the youngest was born.
