Thanks for the reminder. I almost forgot about it.
I'm surprised they still showed Taylor talking about her marriage, even if it wasn't in a negative light.
I'm interested to see how Kim and Kyle interact this season. There seems to be a lot of love lost there.
Adrienne and Paul just don't seem like a good match. Do they even like each other?
Re: RHOBH Discussion
Adrienne and Paul were hard to watch. She just doesn't seem interested in the marriage at all.
I loved Lisa last season, but after this episode, she just seems to have a chip on her shoulder. What Ken said to Taylor in regards to marriage counseling was harsh. I know it's his opinion, but it still came out wrong and I can't believe Lisa didn't understand that.
Interested to see how they deal with Taylor this season.
Are Adrienne and Paul still married? She really seems like she can't stand him. Poor guy. He seems nice to me.
I thought they did a good job addressing the suicide at the beginning, and then getting on with the season.
LMAO at Adrienne's chef's reaction to Lisa.
I'm glad they started off the season with all the ladies discussing what happened with Russell and the sadness and grief it has caused, but I still don't feel like it was enough to address the seriousness of the issue.
All the bickering between Adrienne and Paul was very uncomfortable to watch, and I feel really bad for him because he doesn't seem to be doing anything wrong and is such a sweety pie. I think she's just not into him anymore and therefore gets irritated very easily by him. I hope they can work it out!
What was up with Adrienne's chef's reaction to Lisa arriving? Did I miss something?
I absolutely adored Lisa and Ken last season, but was very surprised to how they acted in last night's episode.

Good Lord, did Adrienne get another facelift?! Her eyes look even more slanted and just strange looking. It was hard to see her and Paul fighting, it definitely seems like she has checked out of the marriage.
I'm OK with the fact that they still show Taylor talking about the marriage, IMO it would be wrong to edit all that out. I mean, this is supposed to be reality tv right? I think as long as they dont cross the boundary between her just talking about their problems and her making negative comments about his character or the alleged abuse it is OK to show. I definitely dont think they she painted Russell in any negative light right now, but the fact is they were having problems and thats probably a big factor for her on the show this season.
Lisa got on my nerves this show, and whats with Ken getting all the one-on-one camera time? He seemed very arrogant and unwilling to admit he said somethig wrong.
Interested to see what plays out w/ Kim this season, maybe we'll get a little more insight into her personal problems.
Kyle is ok so far, wasn't a big fan of hers last season so we'll see.
I do feel bad for Camille going through the divorce, I hope she is able to stay strong. I know money doesnt solve any of the pain but getting $50million from the deal is pretty sweet.
i thought the meeting at the start of the show was SUPER awkward. i mean, i guess it had to be brought up but it just seemed so staged and strange. really the only word i can think of is awkward.
adrienne and paul need to get a grip. seriously. the fighting was super uncomfortable and weird to watch. i feel bad for him she is constantly on his case and it has to be embarassing for him. plus, she is always saying they can't stand to be around each other for more than like 2 hours. that's sad. and just like pp i was wondering the same thing about the dog her got her last season.
the dinner party must have been seriously edited. i say this because when kyle came back everyone seemed to be super confused on why she left the table. if it had happened like it was aired and she left right after the ken remark and then kyle left no one should have seemed confused about why she was upset. ken freaking out on kyle about using the word offended was also weird. why did he make it such a big deal?
anddd can we discuss giggy drinking out of the glass and then ken drinking after him? i mean, i love my dog and all but i don't share a drink with her! i think it was just really, really rude to have the dog at the table in the first place and then have the dog drink out of a really expensive glass. sure, that's fine if they want to do that in their own home but other's might not feel the same and it def comes off as rude.
i'm ready for next week already! i can't wait to see how everything plays out.
I imagine it must be very edited. By the time they came back from the bathroom dessert was being served, idk if I even saw them eating the entree.
I may be totally weird, but I always watch the glasses and how full/empty they are. Its the clear sign when editing has been done (i.e. Kyle has full glass of wine, next shot wine is empty).
I thought when Taylor got up, they were just serving the main course, and when they showed Kyle returning, the place settings were empty? The editing seemed pretty heavy to me.
I think you're right...I remember seeing the entree put down. But then when Taylor came back that little trio dessert thingy was being put down. We probably saw 15 minutes of a several hour dinner party.
Bernie, the chef, dislikes Lisa because he said she insulted or made a disparaging comment about his mac & cheese/menu selection. Bernie made me laugh, I want more of this guy in future episodes.
I dunno about last night, but it confirmed that the majority of these people had zero class despite being uber wealthy. Adrienne and Paul were rude to their guests and Ken was acting like a stubborn tool. I thought Lisa was fun last season but I could see how she could be a total b!tch when she didn't get her way or if she did not like a person. But I thought Ken was affable and sweet, but not last night. The weak comment was one thing, but his follow up of his reaction to Taylor being offended was out of line.
Camille seemed be in good spirits last night and I was lol'ing at how skinny she and Taylor were when both of them looked comfortable sitting in one of those media room chairs.
I cannot wait for Brandi to be introduced. I am also curious as to why a pair of sunglasses are worth $25,000.

I guess Countess LuAnne said it best, Money Can't Buy You Class!

I was surprised to see Adrienne and Paul going at it so vehemently, let alone in front of a room full of guests. I don't know what in the hell she was freaking out about, but come on - table the discussion and deal with it later if it's such a big issue. I don't love Paul, but man, she seems seriously difficult to deal with. And, as a PP said, more cat-like than last season.
I do love Jackpot.
Giggy at the table was gross. I don't get why him drinking out of a $500 glass (which is just STUPID - people who spend that kind of money on a glass deserve to be smacked upside the head repeatedly) is so much more offensive than him drinking out of a $5 glass. It's all-around gross to me. Put the friggin' dog DOWN.
I was surprised by how much I disliked Ken & Lisa last night. I loved them both last season but thought they were both terribly rude last night. It's fine if Ken doesn't want to go to a therapist - whatever. But to say it in the wake of Taylor talking about going to a therapist and then being shocked that she was offended? Really, Ken? Are you that effing stupid? And what was with his freaking out over Kyle using the word offended to describe how Taylor was feeling? It seemed pretty accurate to me.
Taylor. Oh so skinny
I just feel so terribly for her, knowing how things with she and Russell end. I'm interested to see how the season plays out for her between then and what we know now.
Camille seems happier. I hated her with a passion the first season, but I'm thinking I'll like her more this season. I'm glad that she and Kyle seem to have smoothed things over from last year.
Kyle + Kim - sad to see a sisterhood shattered like that. I still love Kyle, I feel sorry for both of them, and hope they can work though it. I hope Kim annoys me less this season. Interesting how pointed the shots of Kim refusing alcohol were.
I think Adrienne mentioned how she had asked for Paul's help with setting up and planning the dinner party that day and he said he would, and then left to go play golf leaving her to do it by herself. He was MIA and then when he got home, he was a douche waddle in the bathroom playing with his razor and his beard instead of getting ready and helping finishing the details. Finally, at dinner Paul starts to open the bottle of wine when the wine was being served from the other room, just as Adrienne told him. I think she had had enough of his asshatery and, unfortunately, let him have it at the table. It was hard to watch. It is sad that she says they can't be around each other for very long before the bickering/annoyance kicks in. I hope they can get their marriage working better.
Ken, he is very British and a "stiff upper lip" kind of guy. His thought process isn't that unheard of over there. In fact, Madonna said the Guy Ritchie was very unemotional or caring when she fell off that horse and broke her leg or whatever, and that was one of the reasons they got divorced. I'm not saying that he is right, just that his thoughts would be consistent with that kind of upbringing. We Yanks are way too emotional or something. His delivery was also very british. He didn't expect the people there to be so emotional about it and his reaction to Kyle's use of "offend" was a bit distressing. It was not at all what I expected.
I won't discuss Giggy and the wine glass. Blech!
I LOVED that Jason asked for Pandora's hand in marriage. How sweet and I can't wait to find out more about the proposal, Lisa's reaction, and details of their wedding. Bravo says that they filmed it for the show. Squeee!
Camille was so much more relaxed and happy looking. It was nice to see her like that compared to last year.
Kyle seemed like Kyle. I wonder what their new house looks like?
Kim looks like she has kicked the bottle to the curb and is working on herself. I hope she and Kyle work out their relationship soon because I hate to see them fight.
Taylor. It is hard to watch her knowing what happens with Russell. I imagine it will be that way all season.
Elegance is learned (my friend)!
I thought they did a good job of addressing Russel's death at the beginning of the episode. I hope Bravo will be respectful of his family with the way the rest of the series is edited. Suicide is a tough thing to deal with for everyone left behind.
Jiggy vs. Jackpot was hilarious! So was Bernie vs. Lisa.
The dinner party was definitely edited weird, I don't think Adrienne and Paul's little argument got nearly the reaction Bravo tried to get out of it! I understood her annoyance, I think she's just one of those people who will tell you she's annoyed and then gets over it pretty quickly.
Looking forward to SLUT PIG!
Running and recipe blog
ITA with both of these lol!!
SLUT PIG YAY!
Also...meth allegations? Is that from the past or recent? I hate Kim so bring it on.
I too am wondering what happened to Adrienne's german shepherd. They probably keep it outside
Camille stills seems fake so I'm not optimistic. Overall it looks like the season will get nasty. Good!
She mentioned on Twitter that the dog which Paul bought her ended up not being a compatible match for her and the kids; she was working with a dog trainer and the dog trainer adopted the German shepherd from them. I think she also got another one that was more compatible
