I'll start.
On Friday I bought a onsie. For us. We're not expecting and not ttc yet, but I couldn't pass it up. It was too perfect. It's a navy blue onsie with orange print. It has a picture of an old time baby carriage on it with a big bock I on the carriage (for the Illini). It says "This is how I roll". It's currently hidden in one of my drawers under a bunch of clothes. Matt will love it, but I don't want to freak him out by showing it to him until we have something growing to put in it.

As I was in the process of buying onesies for my baby when you texted the pic, I was so excited! And I don't think it's flameworthy. I would have done the same thing!

This isnt exactly flamable, just a confession.
i bought a giant bag of candy at Costco for my desk. My predecessor did it, and i feel the need to keep it up. I have had no fewer than 8 halloween sized packs of nerds today. That equals one candy bar, right?
Jo - I bought a couple of onesies before we started TTC too, ones that I couldn't pass up!
My FFC is that I bought a Vera Bradley diaper bag a few weeks ago because the pattern was like 50% off and I've heard great things about the bag. I left the other one on my registry (a Skip Hop one) figuring I'll just see which one I like better and return one later
My FFC? I have done like ZERO work in two weeks. I just cannot get engaged in my stuff...I have to finish a lot up before I go on leave and I am trying really hard to do a good job so that they are not too pi$$ed if/when I decide not to come back because I will need references some day...

I texted a pic to Sarah B on Friday, so I just emailed it to me. I'll update with it when it comes through.
I haven't done much work the past couple of weeks either. I'm unmotivated since I'm leaving and I'm annoyed with the place. So, yeah.

I also have no desire to work right now. Moral is down with the whole outsourcing review and I feel I have no motivation at the moment as I work my buns off (still doing my original job which would be 40 hours on a 32 hour work week PLUS helping cover some accounts for the employee that left in January and they haven't replace b/c of hiring freeze) and get nothing in return while my coworker who reads People magazine and has invoices she hasn't reviewed since June that should've been sent out is on the up and up. She doesn't even have a Bachelor's degree and I have a Master's and she's very immature professionally still. She fights on the phone with her DH quite often so everyone can hear and gossips openly about anyone she can pick on.
Alexi thinks we aren't buying anything new for our next LO, but I already have a few things planned I want, but we don't necessarily need. One is a new pack 'n play with a newborn napper. Our pack 'n play is actually broken- it is still useable, but the newborn napper in it SUCKS, so I just want a new one. I also want a Moby and I really have been thinking of buying a few CDs and seeing how it goes even though he isn't on board with it and I think it'll be a pain with washing and stripping diapers with our front loader since we can't use the special diaper detergents as they aren't for HE machines.
A coworker told me some of the other ladies don't think I'm friendly and think I don't like them. Funny, I thought the same about them! Anyway, this isn't the first time I've been told this. I am not a super happy bubbly smiling person and if I don't know you I won't talk to you. It's just how I am. If somone is talking to my coworker next to me and I don't know that person I go about my business and don't turn around and say hi. I don't crae for small talk. I am not always like that but usually. I DO smile at them in the hallway though and if they say Hi I will say it back. I've been told people are scared of me. Once someone gets to know me I am a completely different person. I'm talkative and friendly then.

I have already picked out new furniture for our new house, DH has no desire to buy new stuff and thinks its crazy. I said okay to him buying a snowmobile for his bday (used off of CL) so I can buy furniture in November. Our new house is twice as big as our current home and I can't stand when homes look unfinished.
I also do not want to leave b/c we really do have good benefits and good IF coverage. I highly doubt I can get that anywhere else.
I have this problem too. I'm just not a bubbly personality. People are different, and those who judge on this are irritating. I don't come across very well sometimes, but once people get to know me, they know I'm not a jerk.
