Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Baby Shower Venues
Hi. Does anyone know of any places to have a baby shower in the Des Moines area? Really it can be SS Des Moines, West Des Moines, Urbandale, ect. It needs to be inexpesive tho. Any ideas would be helpful. Thanks.

Are you looking for a place that has catering, etc, or just the room?
The East and Central Libraries have rooms you can rent pretty inexpensively. Here's a link to the East one:

I thought the Franklin Avenue Library was going to have meeting room rental, but I don't see it on the site, so either a) I'm wrong, or b) the website hasn't been completely updated since the reopening.
