**Ranger**

I saw on your blog that you didn't find out the sex of Hannah and Lily until 19 weeks... did you not have an ultrasound in the few weeks before that, or could they just not tell?

Our next u/s is Sept. 19th (16w) and then Oct. 3 (18w). Of course, I'm hoping to find out at the next one but just wondering if it's common to not find out at 16w so I don't get my hopes up. ;)

Re: **Ranger**

  • ***butting in*** I didn't have twins, but my doc said that they are wrong lots of the time before 20 weeks. I know people find out before then and they are correct, but I wouldn't want to be told that they were one gender then find out they are another, ya know?

For sure! But my thought is that since they are ID, even if they aren't 100% sure by looking at one of them, hopefully the other will cooperate!

Regardless, we are doing something fun for the sex reveal so I'm telling the tech not to tell us unless she is SURE. I just don't want to spend the next two weeks thinking it'll happen only to be let down.

  • We had an u/s at 12/13 weeks and then I didn't have another one until 19 weeks.  Since my girls were di/di I didn't need to be monitored as much.

If you are having two more boys, and they get a good look they'll probably be able to see something at 16w.

  • I know,Tiff! I am so inpatient!
