Wild, Wild West...
...Indian parade. As said, I stayed home all weekend and did not go to any of the events this year. But I was disappointed and saddened to hear about the violence that ocurred in or near the actual parade this year. So sad. I think I won't go next year to see if things settle and if it does, I will go the following year.
This is our one chance to celebrate our various Caribbean carnivals, why do a few idiots have to spoil it for the rest of us?
Besides this though the other weekend activities were great and went on without a hitch based on DH's reports. He went to all the parties, bbqs, breakfasts, shows from our island and left me all alone, mostly all weekend long.
