Random QOTD

What kind of milk do you drink?

I usually drink 2%.  Last week I bought 1% because the store was out of 2% and I was not a big fan of it.  I think I'll stick with 2%.

Re: Random QOTD

  • I drink 2% like it's going out of style. 1% is too watery for me and whole milk is too thick. I'm picky and love my 2% milk :)

  • I prefer skim but H liked 2%, so we compromised at 1%.  I still can't really drink it straight, because it tastes too creamy and thick.

  • H and I are both 1% people.

    Woke up. Still queen.
  • I don't.  :-/  I was lactose intolerant at birth and just never got into straight milk.

    DH drinks skim.

  • We are both not milk drinkers. We only keep milk in the house if we are making something that you need to add milk.

  • I don't generally drink milk, but if I want to drink a glass (sometimes I get cravings) I choose 1% or 2%.  For cereal and cooking, we use skim.

  • SD has to have whole milk, so we just buy that. I have a hard time buying multiple kinds of milk knowing they will go bad because we don't drink enough of it to warrant buying that much. So we just get the whole milk. I prefer 2% so it has been an adjustment on my part.

  • Skim for drinking, sometimes whole milk for cooking and baking.
  • If I drink milk it's usually skim, but since I don't drink milk too often and DH loves it, we go with 2%. But it does make my morning coffee creamier.

  • I prefer 1% but DH prefers 2%. We usually end up buying 2%.

  • ugh...I spit on you milk!

    Its vile and disgusting.

I will occasionally have a little with dry cereal though - and then I don't care what it is.

  • Goat milk.

    Seriously

I've cut dairy out for most of my diet (except for the occasional ice cream/fro-yo treat) and the creamer for my coffee (just switched over to soy creamer for my coffee); but goat cheese & goat milk are fine for me. I've been doing this for about a month. Prior to this, it was skim. DH can drink 2% like it's going out of style, he always has a glass with dinner.
