Yeah, that would be me, klutz of the century. I was about 2.25 miles into my 3 mile run, first one outside since April, enjoying the beautiful Fall-like weather we got here the last couple day, and I was about to cross the street on a little bridge thing over a ditch, and I lost my balance and tripped over some rough concrete.
I fell flat on my face. I scrapped up both knees, both hands (palms and knucles and fingers), my right shoulder, and the right side of my face (cheek, chin, lip) and the icing on the cake? I chipped the tooth next to my front tooth. Oh and I scrapped up my running sunglasses, they're garbage now. When I was falling all I could think was, please don't let me fall on my wedding rings and break them. I felt like such an idiot.
Luckily a nice girl saw me, pulled over and drove me to the gym where my car was parked. Then the EMTs were called and cleaned and bandaged my wounds. Best part? My husband is still gone and now I feel like I am going to look like hell when he gets home in a few weeks with my face all scrapped up. I'm going to call the dentist first thing to see if they can see me and fix my tooth. And now for your viewing enjoyment, my battle wounds...

Re: Guess Who Fell While Running Today? PIP
Ohhh pal... so sorry!!! xoxo
Ohhh... bummer! Well, it looks kinda cool, lol... like maybe you roughed someone up, lol... tough girl!
Hopefully it doesn't hurt too much!
It does kind of look like you took someone out :-)
I hope you heal quickly. Tony won't care if you are scuffed up as long as you are ok.
omg I am so sorry! That must have hurt really bad!!
On the plus side, your arms in that picture look amazing! You're so tiny!
Aw, hunny! That looks pretty awful.
You should make up some badass story to tell people when they ask what happened. Like, you were chasing down bank robbers or something.

Yucky! Feel better soon!
I was always getting injured and making up stories (I was heliskiing in Switzerland, beat up a black bear, etc....) when nosey strangers would say "OMG, what happened??"
