Speaking of PSL.... other nestie fall traditions
I am eating candy corn for lunch.
And waiting for honeycrisp apples.
Re: Speaking of PSL.... other nestie fall traditions
Pumpkin patch! We'll head up to Butler's early next month.
Ditto on the honeycrisp, although I'm trying to stay away from candy corn because I have no willpower around those things . . . I *will* eat the whole bag in one sitting.

confession: i don't like pumpkin or pumpkin spice anything *hides face*
fall is my favorite season - love the cooler temps, foliage, apples, cider, and football being on again
It's okay we'll still keep you! I find that many people that don't like pumpkin don't like a particular spice usually added to pumpkin stuff, since pumpkin doesn't really taste like anything itself.
And I agree with cheekywife on football, etc. I also love boots and sweaters. Today's weather is teasing that these are so close yet so far!
I will also confess to not loving the PSL. I much prefer the peppermint mocha.
For the longest time I DID NOT understand this board's obsession with Honeycomb cereal! Yeah, reading comprehension = FAIL!
And ditto the honeycrips being here. Spicknels farm in Beltsville has a ton of them (though I def. helped lighten their load yesterday).
thanks
it's actually a texture thing with pumpkin for me. just.grosses.me.out.
i love boots and sweaters too!

cheeky, I don't like pumpkin either. My mom is famous for her pumpkin-apple butter pie at Thanksgiving. It always smells so good baking, but I can not bring myself to eat it. The only pumpkin thing I've ever liked are the pumpkin muffins at the restaurant where I waitressed in college.
I can't wait for honeycrisp apples, though! They are amazing in pie!
Of course, after making it through most of the summer without hitting triple digit temps, they are predicted out here for tomorrow and over the weekend. So, it will be at least another week before I start thinking about fall!
do i smell a fall outing brewing?
