grumpy old cafeteria lady (baby bump pic)
the grumpy old cafeteria lady today asked me "boy or girl?".....while this is a perfectly valid question to ask someone who you have a relationship with...even if it is ever so slight.......however i've never ever ever ever had a conversation with this cafeteria lady. she's grumpy-and scares me. i'm pretty sure she's one of those that doesn't even tell you the total of your food, just makes eye contact with the total on your screen and expects you to pay.....but today she asked me.
while i think i'm obviously pregnant...to me, and close friends and family, i don't think a stranger *should* be able to pick up on it...at least..if i saw a woman with a body like mine right now, i wouldn't think she's pregnant, just fat

Well, if you were someone I was seeing for the first time, I wouldn't necessarily think you were pregnant. But if you were someone I saw, say weekly, then I would think you were based on the progression/speed of the weight.
yes, she sees me probably weekly..but i've been hiding my bump with jackets, etc up until 3 weeks ago.

i love where this thread was heading! however, he should have stuffed something else.. it looks small.. lol.
i'd just NEVER ask if people are preg unless they're about to pop.. the only reason is that my old co-worker got ask on the daily if she was preg by different people that came into the office. once she went to get her car fixed and the mechanic said, did the baby feel that something was wrong with your car?? weird, but how mortifying.
and weird that the weird cafeteria lady asked... maybe she comes off as a creep but she's some one's grandma who is really sweet and bakes delicious pies...
