I think I have posted on here in the past about a very close friend of mine that battled a brain tumor for several years. He passed away at the end of June at the age of 36, leaving behind a wife of 13 years and 2 young kids. He was an avid cyclist and his friends/family are putting on a memorial bike ride this weekend. I meant to share this earlier but wanted to throw it out there in case anyone is looking for a last minute ride this weekend. Augusta is only 2 hours away and it should be beautiful at the lake this weekend.
Anyway, just wanted to share.

My Nest Bio and Cycling Advice
Thanks! I remembered that we had some mutual fb friends from the cycling circle. I don't ride but I've got several friends that do.
I still catch myself looking to see if it's him everytime I pass someone riding near our house, so hard to believe he's gone
His son is 7 years old and having a really tough time, I think he's just old enough to grasp the finality of death. Breaks my heart for his sweet family. For some reason I just can't get them off my mind today.
Here are 2 articles about his story if anyone wants to read them.
