I love them! And the whole project only cost me around $12. I did a little step by step with pics in my blog if anyone else is interested in making your own :)

  • That is awesome! My mom collects old white knob glass.  I'll have to show her this.

  • Very pretty!

  • Those are so cute. I starred it on my google reader to try out.

I had a question for the design guru on the board...I always see tons of artwork on design blogs but hardly any personal photos on the walls, why is that? Are you opposed to having pictures for aesthetic reasons? Or just minimize the number?

  • Fun! I've seen this for pumpkin decorating before. Never thought of it for glass.

  • Can I have a pinterest invite?  dollfinn19 at hotmail.com  thank you!

I'm not sure who this "design guru" is but I can tell you what I think ;) I absolutely love photos/photography, don't get me wrong, but I think prints are more of a design statement due to their graphic nature. Photos can also be graphic though when they are simplistic. Or you can always display both which I think is cool too. It's really just personal preference, but I also see graphic prints as a growing trend (hopefully it will stick around!) Since I design them for a living it only makes sense that I'd have them everywhere in my own home :)

Your home is phenomenal, shut your mouth! You are the local design guru! I feel like that's one thing I need to work on, we have so many photos in our home it's like a shrie to ourselves. Some editing is in order when we move.
