good wednesday morning!
holy jeebz we were busy yesterday. and i'm okay with that. i love it. i had so much fun nesting last night....h was making fun of me 
. he normally sees me nest for a few mins in the afternoon/evenings and that's it (he knows i nest during the day). but he saw me go at it last night with my furious typing!!
didn't do much yesterday at home...made tacos! i'm a little upset because *after* i put the meat into the hot sizzling pan, i realized i was out of taco seasoning (i normally buy in bulk from costco)....i had to scramble and guess on how to make it. it tasted nothing like tacos (soy sauce, salt, pepper, cumin seeds, some random tomato seasoning i had, garlic salt, italian seasoning, siracha and paprika), but it was still good. h asked me to make it again.........not gonna work. i have no idea how much of what i put in, i just scrambled.
h took a random day off today (jerkface), so he with his cousin will be doing chores around the house. i also have him on shopping duty for a wedding this weekend.

LOL. This was my H too. I kept asking him "What was that Paris Hilton article that you sent me a long time ago?" and he didn't get why it was so important that I find it.
I ran a few errands last night. I swear errand running is the biggest time suck ever.
H's brother and his family (including the 3 year old) are coming over for dinner tonight. I'm hoping that it's going to be cool enough tonight to eat outside.

I'm tired. I couldn't fall asleep and when I finally did I woke up to texts from my brother. He's on vacation in NC and rescued a cat from outside his hotel. He *thinks* his MIL might keep the cat if it's not chipped otherwise he's going to keep it and take it back to Alaska. For starters him and his daughter are allergic to cats. And I've had to travel with a pet before - and I have no idea why he thinks traveling with a 2 1/2 year old and a cat is a good idea. He has it in his head that the cat will be killed if he doesn't do something.
Tonight I plan on cuddling with the cat and sleeping.

I have a list of things to get done today...stupid errands! And I finally got access to my online course this morning after being locked out all day yesterday. Turns out I need to read three chapters by Saturday. No big deal, but my book isn't getting here till tomorrow and I have a book that I'm really wanting to finish. Oh well...

Migraine from freaking hell since yesterday afternoon.
My migraines are generally weather induced but with the clear skies I don't know what's up, except it was all freaking cold and foggy this morning so maybe that's it.
So instead of focusing on work, I am nesting today. :P I should probably just go hide under my office couch and sleep. I think I've finally figured out how to keep my office lights shut off (they turn back on automatically every someone moves. Stupid motion detection.)

I'm in a pretty good mood this AM. Lost 5.2 pounds from last week at today's weigh in, and I'm only .4 damn pounds away from losing 40 total pounds...woot. heh.

I've decided to up my job searching this week. I've been passively looking for a new job for the last few months, but this week (after a bunch of layoffs last week) too much work is getting passed on to me, and my pay isn't going up, so I think it's time for me to leave
I've liked working here the past 2+ years, but there has been too much turnover for my liking.

Thanks for the link! We can't seem find a per-packaged seasoning that doesn't have gluten in it. And DH is allergic to it.

Yea, I have a gluten allergy too, so we basically avoid most packaged foods.
Such annoying things have gluten in them. Like Annie's Worcester sauce. WTH.
I think that's how it is with most Worcester sauces. It makes me sad because it is delicious with steaks and DH can't have it.

Apparently it's actually Worcestershire, lol.
I know the traditional brand is gluten free in the US. US Lea & Perrins. There's also one at Madison Market that's gluten free, and says so on the label.

Last night was so much fun! I love that we were busy on here.
That was exciting.
I need to get some serious stuff done. I realized that I have like a million and 1 errands to run today and the gym just might get cut. Although I really don't want to skip out on it, I think it might be necessary. I'm hosting a baby shower this weekend and I need to be more proactive about it and get sh!t done early.
Training at work is nuts. Every time I sit down to do something I have to get up.. I haven't done what I normally would do and that is driving me nuts!
*Shakes head* Asians. Why do they think soy sauce is in everything? Taco is MEXICAN you goober! :P Base flavoring includes salt, pepper, cumin, chili powder, garlic, onion, cayenne. I like to add a little Worchester, but soy sauce?
I was a bum yesterday...was waiting for my Rx to get filled after work and lost track of time wandering around Bartells until H called me at 6:30 to tell me he wasn't dead in a ditch somewhere. While I appreciated that, it made me
because I didn't realize how late it had become, I had assumed he was at home and hadn't called him (and he assumed I was at home wondering where he was). I had a funny pb & j sandwich for dinner since I didn't have enough strawberry and used it up, switched to the marionberry but it was bad, so finished with gooseberry preserves. No point in opening new jams before we move, finish up what we can!
I started a new skin care regimen, finally trying all the products Mario Badescu sent me rather than just the one cream I was using. Tonight I'm going to try the mask and need to make my quinoa faux tabouli for the our new 'hood's picnic tomorrow after work.
soysauce goes in everything. period
taco meat is usually pretty dark brown..my meat was not dark brown. i wanted to add color.....there was the soysauce next to my stove..i panicked.
