Having "one of those days"

Anyone else?

So, this morning started with H and Alex both rearing for a fight. She always wakes up super cranky and H thought it would be worth it to fight her to get her fully dressed right away. She was fighting, screaming and kicking when he went to put her socks and shoes on. He still had half an hour before they had to leave, but he kept up the fight with her so they were both upset by the end. I took that as my time to leave (20 minutes earlier than normal).

I got into work 20 minutes late due to traffic. Rain, plus school, plus the end of summer vacations, equals really bad backups.

I get to the office and try to log in to my computer. Password failed, retry and get locked out. I get the other attorney in at the time to help unlock me at the server. Try again, locked out again. I haven't changed my password in 3 weeks (it's good for 4), so we don't know what the issue is.

Second attorney comes in, checks server, can't figure out why I'm locked out. I reboot, still locked. Attorney says he'll call our IT guy.

An hour goes by, first attorney asks second attorney what IT guy said. Second attorney says he hasn't had a chance to call yet.

Another half hour, and we try again. He tries to reset my password. He reads it aloud as he is typing and I realize I'm an idiot. I was using the wrong password. I was off by one character. How to I get out of this mess? I suggest to lock myself out and let him create a new password for me. He does, and of course, it works now. Ugh! I can't believe I'm such a moron today.
