I have a simplicity se3 embroidery machine I bought off craigslist. It didn't come with any cards or manual so I'm clueless as to what kind I need. Also is better to buy the blank cards and the thing to plug into my computer or buy the cards with the designs already on them. Thanks!

Re: embroidery card question
I have no idea what that machine is or what type card it uses but, I would recommend getting a card/reader if you plan to get any other designs. There are a gazillion designs on the I'net and you will likely want to expand your library when you get familiar with machine embroidery and even if you ever upgrade your machine.
ALSO, the designs that you purchase on CD (you may only use one or two and waste the rest) are usually much more expensive than buying them individually from places like this.
GL!

I LOVE Embroidery Library (the link above). They have great designs and wonderful customer service.
They are also very resaonably priced; I am cheap like that.
