Realtor recs in Glenside/Oreland area

We're thinking about switching realtors, looking for one that really knows the Glenside/Oreland area well.

Any recs?

  • No offense whatsoever to Oodsie, but we're coming from working with a Realtor that we know, and would honestly prefer to use someone that we have no background with.

This is who we used. She is wonderful!  (We are in Lansdale but she worked with us while we were house hunting from 2 hours away) I know she lives in Oreland so she knows the neighborhood well!

  • We loved our realtor for many reasons but familiarity with that area was a major one. His wife also worked with me (at the time) and he'd sold half the department their homes so we trusted him. I don't know how use the PM feature on here but if you're interested, let me know and we can figure out how to get you his name.

  • We used Jim Fulginiti at ReMax. I believe Samantha did as well and so did Mathew(numbers). We really liked him. He's kinda young and fun and grew up in the area so he has a lot of knowledge. I can look up his info if you want it.

    My little nuggets

    No offense taken.

I highly recommend using a reference from a friend, preferably someone you know who got an awesome deal on a house and their agent worked hard for them to get it.   In this market, you want someone who isn't lazy and is going to fight for you.  Also make sure they are FT and up on technology, can text/email you with updates instead of always wanting you to come into the office.  KW agents tend to be the best with technology - your local KW office is probably our Jenkintown office.

Thanks, Oodsie. We actually just spotted a brand new listing that has a lot of potential, so it may be moot! But if it doesn't work out, I will definitely keep that in mind.
