What's bugging you Wednesday?

What's bugging you...that's really not a big deal?

Re: What's bugging you Wednesday?

  • First, something has been bugging me for awhile, but I forget it every Wednesday, and then remember later.  That's bugging me.

Second, when I got to work today, the system was down.  For most people, this isn't an issue because as long as you are at work, you are good.  But for me, being at work is mostly irrelevant unless I am billing time.  So I sat there for almost an hour before finally leaving to go back home to work. I am aggravated that I lost out on some billable time today.

  • My patient from this morning.  I had an elderly gentleman in here, who became frustrated with the testing process, threw his paper and pencil across the table at me, then stormed out of my office yelling that he was done and it was crap.  Im not going to lie.  I started crying.  And I have no idea why.  I deal with difficult patients all the time who get mad and swear and I have no problem dealing with them.  But for some reason this old man made me cry.  And its bugging me that I reacted the way I did.  Grrrr....is the day over yet?  Can I go home?

  • A friend of mine cheated on her husband a couple years' ago and her husband finally found out.  She is now trying to blame me due to not stopping her at the bar that night.  Are you serious??  I'm not your mother and also, I was not there when you did the deed.  WTF!!

  • It's bugging me that my house is not 100% unpacked.  We just moved in 10 days ago so I know this is perfectly ok... but, it's not perfectly ok for me.  I just want it all done now.  :)

It's not my fault because <someone> didn't stop me.  Yeah, that's a good excuse. Indifferent

This, I think it's the same thing every week, and I remember it either Thursday or Friday, but draw a complete blank on Wed's.

It really really bothers me when coworkers (1 or 2 specific one's) ask me things that either I have no reason to know the answer or that it would take them 2 seconds to look up themselves.  Like, when co-worker comes back from lunch and asks "Where is <our boss>?"  I don't know, why the heck should I know, have you looked for him?  I don't keep a lojack on people.  If they would simply ask "Do you know where <boss> is?"  I would have no problem with it though.  It's like its more of a demand than a question.

Other example is "What's the date?" when they are sitting right at their computer.  Open your dam* outlook and look for yourself!  I've stopped actually answering that question and only responding with "You know all you have to do is scroll your mouse over the time in the corner of the task bar".  It's amazing how many times I've responded with this and they still ask me.

Yeah, I don't think we'll be friends after this and I knew I should've stopped talking to her when that happened.  I don't want that drama/Jerry Springer crap in my life.

  • It's bugging my that a friend of mine has been completely disrespectful to her "best friends" saying and doing the most ridiculous things . . .And I can't say anything because I'm only observing it and haven't been a target yet.

I have an inkling, but not positive.  Someone you'll be giving a Gift to soon?

  • I think I might have mentioned this last week, but I'm not sure.  Either way, it's still bugging me so I'll say it again.  DH constantly comes home from work and leaves his shoes in the most ridiculous places.  The "shoe spot" is always by the back door, which he comes through on his way in.  You'd think he could just take them off there.  No.  He has to take them off right in the middle of the kitchen floor, or leave them right in the doorway to the living room.  Needless to say, I'm getting sick tripping over them and it irritates me that he can't be a little more considerate of his 9 month pregnant wife. Super Angry

Lately it's been irritating me that he has been undermining my authority with Emma.  Example, the other night she wanted to sleep in our bed and I told her that she couldn't.  He heard me tell her this.  I go to brush my teeth and come back to find her all snuggled up in our bed with him.  I'm like "Uhhh. pretty sure I just told her No" and he acts like it's not a big deal.  In context, it really wasn't.  Yet it really irks me when he constantly does this because he'll be the first one to get on ME when she's not listening.  It's like "she thinks she doesn't HAVE to listen because you let her do whatever the H she wants".

My Mom has a tendency of always "blaming" everything on me when it comes to DD.  It's nothing big, more like "You have to go home because Mommy says you have to go to bed" even though she's the one that has plans.  Or "Mommy said you can't have a sucker Honey" instead of "You haven't had dinner yet, so you're not allowed to have a sucker".  It's like everything gets reworded so that I'm the bad guy and she gets to be the cool Grandma.  It's annoying.

  • I have two giant zits right now.  One on my chin and one on my forehead.  I'm hoping my hair dresser can figure out a hairstyle that looks good that covers the one on my fore head.  I don't want to have three eyes in my SIL's wedding photos this weekend.

    Bingo!  That's sad.  :(

  • It was really dumb but H's aunt commented on a FB pic of James saying he looked like MIL. Ummmm you're saying my son looks like a woman? OR that MIL looks like a baby boy? Neither seems like a compliment.

It was just an odd comment and it shouldn't bother me because really what difference does it make but it bugged me for some reason.

OMG, I've been in my house for two months and the house isn't totally unpacked.  I don't know if that'll make you feel better but I wish I were in your packign shoes!

P.S. There is one box left in our bedroom but it's been there so long that I've started to use it as a table.  Embarrassed

If it makes you feel any better, I've been in my house for 5 months and we're still not completely unpacked!
