I went to QFC tonight to pick up our wine order - but it wasn't there because of the holiday.
I proceed to fill my cart with jalapeno poppers, nacho bites, microwave burritos, two bottles of wine, people magazine and seattle met.
LOL DH is OOT and I cook at least 6 nights a week and for some reason I decided to rebel tonight. I think even the cat is judging me.

jumped ship to the new and improved nest. back to TB for baby boards.
I use to do that - but now DH is traveling at least a week a month. And I was told a bottle of wine didn't constitute dinner.
When DH and I were dating and he had work dinners he'd ask if it was BBRW night...which was bean burritos and red wine. At least then I made the burritos from scratch!
Once a week or so we do wine and cheese night with artisan cheese and wine. It's the bessssst.
If H liked bean burritos I'd have to start BBRW night too.
s/o burritos and shiitty food, you know what's good? those bbq burritos from safeway. that are hot and ready. i don't even know if they have them anymore. i just remember how greasy and delicious they were.
Safeway here has them. Ultimate drunk"I need grease" food, apparently because they are so hard to find Thursday - Saturday.

wait.. i thought taco bell, 4th meal, was the ultimate drunk food?
omg, i love those burritos.. i'm not allowed to have them but if i was, i think i'd go find them and inhale 2, maybe 3.
my currently-reading shelf:
For some reason I'm happy I've never experienced these - because Safeway is way the hell out of the way. I actually would have to pass Taco Bell on a drunk night to get to them!
For the sake of honesty
I had a few jalapeno poppers and the nacho bites for dinner...and perhaps a bit of the wine.
The burritos will go into the deep freezer to be forgotten by the next time DH goes out of town.
I will cry myself to sleep tonight because the people magazine I bought has the story of the kids of September 11th, that never met their other parent.
Random note re poppers: A guy brought these poppers to a bbq I hosted one time. OMG. It's not traditional style poppers. Bacon wrapped jalapeno halves stuffed with cream cheese. Grill. So freaking good, but bacon makes everything better.
Taco Bell? I love Taco Bell. I don't care what people say about it being not real food. I am in love with their liquid cheese and get it on just about everything I can there. Mostly? I love their Nachos Bel Grande.
Man, now I want junk food. ._.
Mmmmmm, FI makes these with his home cured bacon. LOVVVVVVVVEEE.
He's judging you because you probably didn't share the nacho bites with him!
this is an understatement. it should be BACON MAKES EVERYTHING BETTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A friend of mine posed a question once, that I don't think there is an answer to:
What /isn't/ made better by bacon or whipped cream?
