Princess and the Frog
So me and H both love the Princess and the Frog movie, and someone on my fb posted a pic of her and said "why is she seriously on my disney calendar." Of couse everyone commented racist and such. Anyways who's your fav disney princess and would you consider princess and frog (Tiara I think) to be princess? PIP appreciated!

I have always been in love with Ariel ~The Little Mermaid~
Sadly, I haven't seen this one, but I always wanted to. Our godkids have seen it, and our godson (age 5, saw it when he was 3-4), does his impression of the frog by saying "Kiss me, I prince" and puckers. So cute.
My favorite has always been Belle from Beauty & the Beast. I just like how she gets things accomplished, regardless of possible fear, and I've always envied the library the Beast gave her in the castle. Seriously jealous...
My fave by far!!!!!! I've been trying to H to watch it with me so he can understand all about the Disney princesses

TTC Since January 2011 - We have bad spermLOL I so have my h wrapped around my finger when it comes to disney. He asked me last night..why haven't we bought Tangled yet?! lol so funny
I love Ariel (might be something about the red hair and rebellious attitude), so she's my favorite princess. My favorite non-princess from a Disney movie would be Megara from Hercules (I love her singing voice/most bad-ass song):
I definitely would consider Tiana one of the new disney princesses. I also would consider Rapunzel one as well, even though that movie wasn't done in the hand drawn style.
I like the old school princesses more. I'm leaning towards Snow White as my favorite but I don't really know that I have a favorite per see.
DH and I have been on a Disney kick lately (okay I'm on a Disney kick and he goes along with it) and I would definitely consider Tiana and Rapunzel princesses, but not Charlotte from Princess and the Frog...she's just a lazy spoiled brat. I just want to put in a Disney animated movie now and veg but I need to finish some grad school work-I may only be this class from master's equivalency and level two certification at the same time :-)
I am also a HUGE Belle fan! I love Beauty and the Beast! I also really like Cinderella because I think it is a great rags to riches/being kind to others kind of story. And of course every girl wants her Cinderella story.
I absolutely loved Princess and the Frog! I totally think Tiana should be included with the Disney princesses

My fav is DEF Beauty and the Beast!! I love the songs in it.
FWIW-- Sleeping Beauty and Snow White scare the living beejeezus out of me. I could never watch them.
Why wouldn't Tiana be considered a princess? she's just as much a princess as Belle is, right? Maybe some people consider the "disney princesses" to be from the classic movies? I think that girl on facebook is just showing her age and only considers the princesses to be mid-90's and earlier.
While I'm on a rant-- you know what I love about Princess & Frog- I LOVE that it was hand-drawn animation. I like the PIxar's and everything, but I miss the good, old school Disney animation. Good stuff.
Tiana would be considered a disney princess in my book.
Ariel would be my favorite as I watched the Little Mermaid so many times it drove my brothers nuts. Belle would be a close second though.

This! I love Sleeping Beauty and Princess Aurora...I feel like that movie often gets forgotten but I think it's one of the best. Those little fairies are just too darn cute.
Speaking of hot princes, I used to dream of marrying Aladin lol...I know he's not a prince but in my little kid mind, I thought it was totally possible for Aladin and I to meet one day and fall in love lol.

and I like Mulan too (though is she a princess? I don't even know).
When I ran the disney princess half marathon in february I got to get a photo with the princes! It was so fun!
