Had skin tag removed.

Well that's what the physician assistant called it, instead of hanging mole.  She removed 2 small ones, and the big one that has been bothering me.  She didn't bother with any numbing medicine because she said numbing would hurt as bad as just snipping them off.

The big one definitely hurt the worst, and the "medicine" should put on it afterwards burned.  I had one removed on my upper thigh that didn't hurt that bad, but has bled quite a lot.

I'm just glad it is over, and I look forward to not having to deal with them at all.

My grandma was telling me how she cuts hers and my grandpa's off all the time. Ick! She offered to cut mine off, and that just grossed me out too much.  I told her I'd let the doctor handle it.

Re: Had skin tag removed.

  • I can't believe your grandma cut her own off!!  I would be wayyyy too nervous to do that!

  • B gets them on his neck all the time. He cuts them off with toe nail clippers. Ick! I scream at him every time I catch him doing it.

I remember you saying this in the past. I don't get easily grossed out, but this grosses me out so bad.

Hope you are not in pain anymore Dani!!
