Another possiblity (MORE)

Today I went to pick up my daycare kids from the school that I taught at last year. (I taught part time, no continuing contract and  totally new administration) While I was waiting for them to be released the new principal walked up to me and said, "Just and FYI, if we enroll 3 more third graders we will need to hire another teacher." I said, "Well I student taught in 3rd grade so that would be perfect." She said that it's not a guarantee yet because of the numbers (but I offered to recruit kids from the neighboring county Smile)

I hate not having a 'real job' and I'm really hoping this pans out. It has to be a good sign that she sought me out (right!?). I'm thinking the other teachers said something to her about me because I went up to visit with the baby on Thursday and they all asked about my job hunt.

Thanks for reading, I don't want to tell too many people IRL because then I just get asked over and over if I got the job - and I'm tired of saying no. I just really needed to share.

*MORE* I received a call this morning to interview today! for a 4th grade position. The teacher got some kind of promotion so he can't start his new job until they replace him... They called at 8am, I interviewed at 10... I hope enthusiasm is on my side!
