Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Weekend getaways!
DH and I are looking for suggestions where to go for a weekend (either Fri-Sun or Sat-Sun) from the DC area. We live in So.MD, so anywhere within about 2-3 hours from the DC area would be great - so closer.
Suggestions please?!?!

we spent a weekend at some of the wineries in VA in june. we chose to stay in leesburg since we didn't want to spend much time driving. loved fabbioli, hiddencroft, and chrysalis vineyards. we stayed at norris house inn.
if we'd had 3-4 days instead of just 2, i'd have headed out to charlottesville. that is like 2.5 hours from DC.
