um, my mom makes a recipe with tortellini, tomatoes, artichoke hearts... I can't remember the rest. But you can add other stuff to it.

I always really like the Chicken Gorgonzola pasta salad they have at QFC. It has penne, a slightly creamy sauce that I think mostly comes from the gorgonzola, large crumbles of the cheese, red grapes, walnuts and chicken.
I'll admit, haven't tried this recipe, but leave out hte hot pepper sauce and it sounds like it could be similar. http://www.grouprecipes.com/94570/gorgonzola-and-grape-tortellini-salad.html
Why? I know there's often some voodoo about no imported cheeses or unprocessed, but I believe there are domestic fetas.

they can have feta (or any soft cheeses) as long as it's pasteurized first. check the label.
i usually put olives, salami (also a pg no-no), cherry tomatoes, bell peppers, roasted garlic chunks, and italian dressing.
