It is thunder storming here something awful. They are definitely bowling in heaven. I don't want to be stuck in the house with Quint all day but any indoor activity is going to be jammed with kids today. What do you think of me taking him to see a kid's movie? Cars 2 is playing at 1:35.
Is three old enough to see a movie in the theatres?
Re: should I attempt it?
I saw that movie during the summer with my 2.5 year old nephew. 3 is definitely doable. Also, its been out for a while so it will probably be dead in the theater...especially since a lot of schools just went back in session.
I'd brave it. The movie is kind of long though (like the length of a regular movie, not only 1 hr like they do for a lot of kids ones). I think Smurfs is shorter and, in my expert opinion, a better movie
but you should be fine at Cars 2.
Yup, this. Do it! Hope you all have fun!
Was smurfs good? I was mildly tempted to see it but H wanted to see Cars 2..I never saw Cars 1.
I haven't seen the Smurfs, but Cars 2 was horrible. Maybe it's because I had certain expectations because the first one was so good, but thumbs down from me.
Yes, I thought Smurfs was adorable!
Go!
M loved Cars 2. We didn't attempt a theater though and took him to the drive-in. He sat still the entire film.
Definitely. Cars 2 is a little violent in case you haven't heard that yet (there is shooting, the cars bleed motor oil and I think some die - DH took him so it's second hand information).
If the Winnie the Pooh movie is still out that would be a good first movie, I think. It's definitely shorter than a full length (around an hour) but Bruce loved it as much as Cars 2 and Toy Story 3.
