thoughts/prayers for a friend please
she's more of an acquaintance of mine, but she works with my sister and they're pretty close.
ashley is 18 years old and was diagnosed with breast cancer last week. they removed a pea sized mass and 2 tumors grew back in its place almost immediately. its very close to her lymph nodes and they are concerned about it spreading. she's just started an 8 week chemo run and they are talking about a mastectomy.
she's a very sweet girl and so young. if you can spare a thought/prayer i'm sure it would be appreciated.
