There has been a commercial on tv for Tide (I think) that does a clean of your washing machine. Has anyone seen this or know where I can find it? I haven't been able to find it anywhere.
Re: Washing Machine Cleaner
I've never seen the Tide cleaner, but we use the Clorox washing machine cleaner - buy it at our local grocery store. It works fine - not sure it's any different from running a bleach cycle, though?
PS I just looked - Amazon has what I think you're talking about?

I saw our Walmart had the Tide washing machine cleaner. I had a $.50 coupon for it...but the cleaner was $8.99! I think there has to be something cheaper, like running it with bleach or something. Anyone have any ideas for a cheaper cleaner?
I agree with this. I have a HE front loader that is 4 years old. I actually had a "Cleaning" cycle and it only says to put bleach in and run the cycle. The cycle itself is "Super Hot" water temp and it runs for an hour or so. It works really well. I like running it after washing our pets' toys and bedding.
So if we didn't have a "Cleaning" cycle, I'd run bleach with hot water temp. Done!
