I know doctors hate when patients Google and attempt to self diagnose, but I think I have an issue with my ulnar nerve in my left arm.
My left pinky and ring finger have been numb and tingly for a week now and the numbness and tingly feeling goes down the side of my hand to my wrist. My grip seems weaker than usual at times, but not always and it's definitely worse when my elbow is bent. It's not painful just annoying and uncomfortable. My whole pinky finger literally feels numb as I type this and it makes typing difficult. I have a physical in 2 weeks with my regular physician and I plan on bringing it up to her, but is there anything I can try in the meantime for relief? I always pick Mariela up with my left arm, so I've been trying to carry her on my right side which is awkward for me. I'm going to contact our health center at work to have my desk set up for ergonomics which I never did when I joined the company to make sure my chair is the right height and everything. TIA

Thanks, Claire. I did read that keeping it straight at night would probably help it. I keep trying to do it without wrapping it and it's pointless. I need to just wrap it with an ace tonight. Mariela doesn't help as I always cuddle her in bed on that side b/c that's where she is if she comes into bed with us as she's in the middle of our bed. This morning she came in around 5:30 and wanted to snuggle and I tried to keep my arm out of it, but couldn't. She ended up with her head lying on my left arm and I immediately felt my hand get numb. It sucked!
