Maybe I just felt firebaby!
It's early days yet, but periodically today I have felt some light little "pops" in my lower abdomen, unlike anything I've noticed before. I know it could be anything, but for now, I'm pretending it's firebaby

CRAFTY ME
my read shelf:
Yay for feeling firebaby!!!
Definitely possible / probable! I'd say if it's something you've never felt before, then it's firebaby!
I felt baby B at 14.5 weeks inconsistently until about 19 weeks. At 14.5 weeks it felt like a fish swimming against my insides, then within a few weeks it changed to pops / popcorn popping.

that sounds about right!!
I didn't feel even one pop until more like 18-19 weeks, and then started feeling actual movement on the outside around 20 weeks (most times people say it takes a few weeks to feel movement from the outside). Now I can distinguish body parts - it's so cool!
Enjoy it - it's easily my favorite part of pregnancy

sounds like early movement to me!! I think I first felt something like that around 17/18 weeks. It was clearly movement by 19 weeks.
for me, it felt like a muscle twitch...like you know when your eye twitches? but in my uterus. haha. I know what you mean though, it's like nothing you've ever felt before...just wait until you (and A) can feel it from the outside and SEE your belly move. Most.amazing.thing.ever.
yay :-) so excited for you guys.
this is how I was explaining it to Tim when I first started feeling it too! sometimes I wondered if I really started feeling her earlier but was assuming it actually was twitching.
Nowadays though I will have gas that I worry is contractions as the bubbles get stuck and hurt SO much. But then once they pass I'm like, oh, that must have just been a gas bubble working itself out. haha.
