Re: Thankful Thursday
I am thankful that we're not flooded- for my husband's good luck in finding an apartment that is not only on a hill but also on the second floor, so I feel pretty safe.
I'm thankful for the traction and stability settings on our car to drive over flooded highways (I'm looking at you 395 S at Edsall Rd) on our way to the urgent care center yesterday.
Finally, I'm thankful for eye drops that have made my eye swelling reduce to an almost normal size today. Stupid allergies.
Stand up for something you believe in.
I'm thankful for the time I spent with my family over the weekend. I miss those days when it was just us and no boyfriends or girlfriends.
We make the rockin' world go 'round.
I am thankful we are not experiencing flooding right now.
I am thankful that everything in my house seems to be working (all major appliances, water, electric, which has not been the case all summer).
I am thankful I get to wear a sweater today
I'm thankful for the adorable haircuts that our LOs got yesterday from a family friend and DH's long-time barber, and the fun DH and I had taking the babies for their first haircuts. Their hair was getting too long.
I'm thankful again this week that my office has allowed me to go part-time and work 90% instead of full time so I can spend more time with the LOs.
I'll be thankful on Saturday afternoon that our 20-mile run is OVER.
I'm thankful for being kept safe and sound so far with all this horrible flooding all over the northeast.
I'm thankful that my parents live in SW PA and not the NE, where I read 65,000 people have been evacuated due to flooding.
I'm thankful for the delicious produce my in-laws sent us back here with- a huge green pepper and yellow squash, picked fresh from their garden.
I'm thankful that I was able to reserve the moving truck from the place I wanted to yesterday- I was so worried there wouldn't be anything left.
Planning Bio
I'm thankful for the new division my area got moved to at work. It's made my job way, way more enjoyable and challenging (in a good way.)
I'm grateful that the two cherry tomato plants we planted this year have somehow managed to produce in excess of 40 pounds of tomatoes. I have tons of homemade roasted tomato sauce portioned up in the freezer to last us through the winter.
have you seen this?
i am thankful that DH & i are planning our first proper vacation since 2009. we really need to get away for more than two days!
i am thankful that it's not hot today as my a/c broke yesterday. right now the house is holding strong at 75* which isn't bad at all.
i am also thankful for mssaint alerting me to the merrifield groupon!
I'm thankful that my house isn't underwater with all of this rain. I'm also thankful that my transition back to work from maternity leave has been easier than I thought it would be.
Of yes, freaking hysterical.
