I thought I would pop in and say "hello." My husband and I were married on August 27th. We reside in Cherokee county on a fifteen acres farm. While most of my August knotties are busy getting preggo, my husband and I are busy preparing for two new additions to our family (four-legged: another dog and a horse.)
I met my husband three years ago on okcupid.com Neither one of us were looking for significant others, but hey - look what happened?
Looking forward to meeting others in our area as we just moved up to Canton from West of Atlanta.
Re: New Nestie :)
~~~MARRIED BIO~~~
Welcome! What kind of horses do you have? There are two of us that ride here. I currently ride at an eventing barn, but the closest thing I get to a show is a hunter pace. I'll always be a hunter and Saddlebred person. Emm rides hunters.
My Nest Bio and Cycling Advice
Hello, I am new here also! We got married March 5th of this year. We are currently both going to school (future RN over here)! I used to ride when I was younger and loved it, but I haven't in a long time due to finances
BTW-who else is loving this cool weather?!
Adventures of A Girl and Her Apron
We don't. We are getting a horse. However, in the past, we have owned and/or trained a little bit of everything for something - lol. (Minis to Drafts, "gaited" to non-gaited, driving, H/J, Dressage, WP, Working Cowhorse, etc.) At the moment, we both work part time at a farm with Drafts and Spanish horses. And for me, currently, I am training a six year old 19hh Drafty how to drive
Grew up in NY riding Fox Hunts and Polocrosse. Moved to the South and switched to western (since no one in the small town in which I lived even knew what an English saddle was.)
Mainly been doing trails, smaller endurance, and driving the past six years.
