ANDDD my town is flooded again
I hope my house has power so that my sump pump keeps pumping! Thank goodness we don't live in the valley part of town where the river is or else our house would probably be under water...its a b*tch living up on a mountain in the winter, but I've never been so thankful for it in the few weeks!
Even living on a mountain (well, 3/4 up one) our basement gets a lot of water coming through it if we didn't have the sump pump, it would probably be quite soupy.....happy thoughts on a dry basement for me ladies!!!
Hope the rest of you over here in the East/NorthEast are not fairing too badly with all the icky rain.

Hope your basement stays dry! My parents' town is still recovering from the hurricane rains (Northern NJ) and now this - I can't imagine the damage and added expense of continued flooding for their area, as well as the whole NE area of the country who continues to suffer from flooding. I hope everyone stays dry and safe!!!
Not you too! It's been crazy here in Central PA. We live near the Susquehanna River and a bunch of creeks. We are lucky enough to be living up on a hill and only have a wet basement but the street at the bottom of our hill is under a mandatory evacuation. It's really scary!
Make sure you stay safe Kim and I hope that your basement doesn't get too bad!
