the roads are terrible. my realtor and i were trying to get out to the manayunk house and it just did not happen. we took ridge since every other route is closed, and we wound up turning back around as we entered east falls since the electrican got turned on to route 1, and he had an appt. he could not miss at 1130 and yeah mess after mess.

Sorry again. It really is bad. I'm supposed to pick up my CSA share on Thursdays at Greensgrow but there is no way I'm dealing with getting to the other side of the city today.

SD, LOL! The house is fine, thanks for asking. I live up the in hill in East Falls so the flooding is just an issue when trying to get to work.
Jewels-That was so nice of you to offer! As SD has so subtly said, I offered the share to her when I decided I wasn't going to go get it. I'm also heading up to CT right after work tomorrow so I wouldn't have been able to pick it up from you. But thank you; I really appreciate your offering to help!
Ha, no problem! I'm going away this weekend myself so there's no way I would have been able to use it all if you didn't want it. But it's good to remember you also belong in case we can't get ours one week for some reason.

Our basement flooded again and Oliver's daycare was closed b/c the classrooms were under water.
I drove up Kelly and Lincoln Drives to Chestnut Hill on Saturday and to Gladwyne on Sunday and damn. All clear but so much tree and water damage everywhere.
