Re: POLL: Baby Fever Scale

  • I voted 1, only because -10 wasn't an option.
  • I'm somewhere in between.

I thought I was around a 9 but my BFF and cousin had babies this week and that didn't do much for me. I went and saw my cousin's kid at the hospital and when I held him I didn't get all gushy, it was nice, yes, but I didn't have to go home and jump my husband.

    So I think I am probably a 6/7.

  • I am a 6/7 I feel like if we are going to have another baby we better do it soon, but at the same time I am not sure we are 100% ready.  My doc brought up the fact that I am 35 and if we want to...I hate feeling that 35 is old.  I know I am one of the "old" ladies of our board but still....

Ditto this! I can't imagine people who TTC again when their baby is this young.

  • I am off the charts dying for a bfp.  And its weird, I didn't really feel that way a month or two ago.
    Married in 2008 - DD born in 2010 - EDD 6.15.2012!
  • I'm at about a 5 or 6, but steadily creeping up that scale.

  • I've always wanted close babies. I don't LOVE the first few months so far, but I love seeing him grow and change. If we were rich, we'd have another right away and get it done.

Sadly, we're not rich, so it'll be a few years.

  • I had to vote 10, since, well obviously. Although when we were TTC I still didn't feel like I was at a 10
  • I was in the middle. We are definitely not ready yet (still a lot of baby mama drama with SD's mom) but we have talked about it more and more. We both want another baby and we both would like the kids to be somewhat close in age. I am still at the can't imagine having enough love to go around stage though.

  • I'm in that 8/9 area.  Everyone I know is pregnant and it is making it so much worse!
  • On the surface I'm about a 1-2 but I feel like I'm softening a little inside. Kind of like the Grinch whose small heart grew three sizes.....

I think we're still on the waiting until J is 2 before trying train though.

  • Is it sad that I feel like I'm a 2-3? haha. I'm crazy excited to be pg of course... but the nerves, stress, anxiety, etc. is all taking away from the excitement like we had the first time around.
  • Being as my baby is only 11 weeks...I answered a 2.  I would really NOT want to get pg right now again...although I saw a pregnant girl this weekend and told DH how I missed being pg.  He looked at me like I was crazy :)  As much as I am not a fan of the newborn stage, I have a feeling that I will get over that and want another one in a year or two.
