DH and I are going to a wedding in December in Houston and I need help finding a dress. DH is a groomsman, so he'll be in a tux. The save the date says "dress comfortably," and that both the ceremony and reception are inside, so "dress accordingly"...makes me think more casual than the typical 6pm wedding/7pm reception. Ceremony is at a church, reception is at a country club.
And we're going to the rehearsal dinner too, so I need 2 dresses, and shoes to go with them. Bonus points if I can wear the same shoes with both dresses. I haven't bought "dress up" clothes in ages, so I'm lost. And can't break the bank on this. Help!

Re: wedding attire help
Even though the invite says dress casually I would rather be slightly over dressed than under dressed. What is your budget?
Dress 1
Dress 2
Dress 3
Dress 4
Shoes 1
Shoes 2
Shoes 4
Shoes 3
I think dress 4 would be flattering. I haven't seen you in ages, so I'm not sure of your shape.
Honestly, I would wear slacks to the RD. But I have slacks and dressy tops, paired with peep toe pumps and you're good to go. Plus, I get cold and wearing pants helps.
