Healed!
I haven't been great about keeping the board updated since Brynn arrived. So a quick recap:
Emergency c-section after 16 hours of labor, 4 days later discovered that my incision was infected. Home nurse came 5 days a week for 8 weeks to clean my cut (K did it on the weekends, he gets husband of the year award). Then I was able to change it myself after that. Healing progress totally stopped a few weeks ago and I was refered to the wound center. Had a whole new regimen for cleaning my cut. Throw in major bfing problems and a case of mastitis and I have been to the Dr. every week since she was born. So much for feeling sad at my 40wk appt. about not seeing them all anymore!
As of yesterday afternoon though I am officially healed!!!!!!! Woohoo! I have to be gentle with the scar for the next month or so but that is nothing compared to caring for an open wound.
Also siggy is finally updated all the way!
