Our latest painting project is an accent wall in our bedroom (behind our bed). I still have to some touch ups tonight and put the lightswitch covers back on, but I wanted to share a picture of it with you. It took about 10 hours to complete, including the measuring, taping, sealing the edges, two coats of paint, and careful tape removal.
What do you think?
Re: Painting Project #2
It really wasn't hard at all. It just takes time. Because we chose a very geometric pattern, we spent a lot of time making sure our lines were really level. It didn't help that our house was built in 1910 and everything sort of "sinks" towards the center. That means that the walls are uneven and everything had to be measured off of a centerline instead of form the floor or side wall. The payoff was well worth the time.
