DH just got home and looks all excited. He says, "I found a girl name that I like... Tessa!"
I laughed, just because I was thinking about how I would get on here and post this afterwards. Regardless, I'm glad he mentioned it because I do like the name, but he was so cute and excited that he "thought of it all by himself". Funny men. Anyway-thought you'd appreciate it since it's obviously a name you both like!
Re: ernuno and heatherkj
Tessa was one of my top girl names too! And I agree with Erin, it sounds good with your last name.
DH is NOT warming up to the idea of Lacey, despite my saying she "feels" like a Lacey...but he has said he wouldn't mind naming her Tessa--he agreed Taryn/Tessa sound pretty good together. So, DD2 might end up being a Tessa as well!
LOL!
I've always liked the name Tess, and I was reminded of it when Ocean's Eleven came out. But I wanted Tess to be more of a nickname, and that's how we landed on Tessa. Naming our dog was like naming a baby! She was thisclose to being "Molly," but we thought Molly was too common for a dog's name.
Anyway, I think it's a really cute name--for dogs OR humans! Haha
We met one of our new neighbors last week, and when I told him our daughter's name is Nora, he said that there is a dog named Nora up the street. I need to figure out where so that I can introduce Nora the human to Nora the dog.
