  • I've been there once, I don't think the cupcakes are bad, they are just way too expensive for me
  • How much are they?

I don't remember... I think it was $2 for a basic chocolate or white and maybe $3.50 for a specialty one. All I know is I can buy a box of cake mix for $2 and get 2 dozen cupcakes that taste just as good.

  • according to the website it is $2-2.50. i love the specialty ones and i can't bake (i blame it on our gas oven) so i'm fine with that.

  • Holy cow, $2 for just a basic cupcake.. those suckers better be big!  haha
  • She has sales on FB all the time for leftover alert and I want to say the day old sale is $20ish.
  • I'm a little sad because I don't think I ever really got to try Cake in a Cup when I lived out there except for once when one of my kiddos brought in mini cupcakes for her birthday (but they were almond and I don't like those anyway.)  There's a place out here that is TO DIE FOR called LaBella, I used to sub out there and found my car steering its way over there whenever I was in the city.  They're delicious and you can get an enormous cupcake with tons of stuff in it for 2 bucks.

Ari ~ where is this LaBella?  Not towards my neck of the woods is it??  (LOL.. Like I NEED cupcakes!)

  • It's in Lakewood on Madison Ave.  If anyone ever comes to Cleveland, it's a quick and easy stop off on I-90! :)

No way!  I used to live in lakewood.  The next time I'm on the westside, I'll have to stop by.  :-)
